Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at the Apollo, I had the opportunity to indulge at 5 All Day, the hotel's onsite restaurant. From the moment I entered, I was greeted by an inviting ambiance that set the stage for a memorable dining experience. The breakfast buffet showcased a delightful mix of both Indian and international cuisine. I particularly relished the fluffy idlis, alongside freshly prepared pastries that reminded me of a French patisserie. The staff demonstrated remarkable attentiveness, consistently ensuring that my cup of coffee was filled, which was a nice touch. It felt comforting, almost like being at home in Madrid, where hospitality is a treasured virtue. The evening dining experience was equally noteworthy, as their menu offered innovative dishes that beautifully blended local flavors with international influences. One standout was the spicy prawn curry paired with aromatic basmati rice. While the accommodation had its quirks, I found the culinary offerings to be engaging.
